Fakta penyebab pudarnya warna Interior




Pudarnya warna interior disebabkan oleh 3 karakter sinar matahari:
  1. Sinar Ultra Violet (UV) adalah bagian terbesar dari penyebab warna interior memudar.
  2. UV menyumbang 40% pudarnya warna baik cuaca diluar cerah maupun mendung.
  3. Visible Light (Glare) menyumbang sebesar 25% dari pudarnya warna interior.Panas yg dirasakan oleh badan menyumbang sebesar 25% dari pudarnya warna interior.
  4. Lain2nya 10%, spt: warna bahan, kelembaban, cahaya artificial, dlsb.

Energy Matahari dapat melakukan 3 hal terhadap kaca:

  1. Menembus kaca (Transmit)
  2. Bertolak dari kaca (Reflect)
  3. Menyerap pada kaca (Absorb)

Window Film Glossary

Window Film Glossary


Absorptance
The amount that is taken into a medium.

Deposition Process
A form of physical vapor deposition (PVD) often used for deposition of metal films. Film is drawn through a tank containing metal ingots where a vacuum is created by reducing the pressure in the tank, which is then flooded with argon gas and the ingots are heated. The heat causes the metal to give up particles that migrate to the film's surface.

Dyed Film
Window film that uses either a submersion process or a dyed adhesive process to deposit dye onto its surface to achieve the qualities and look of tinted film.

Emissivity
The measure of surface's ability to absorb or reflect far-infrared radiation. The lower the emissivity rating, the better the insulating qualities of the window film/glass system.

Hybrid Film
Window film that is made up of a combination of metallic film and dyed film to achieve the qualities and look fo tinted film.

Infrared Light
A form of electromagnetic radiation with wavelengths between 0. 7 micrometres (0.0007 millimetres) and 1 millimetre. These wavelengths are longer than those of visible light, but shorter than those of microwaves. (The prefix 'infra' means 'below; infrared refers to radiation below the frequency of red light.) Infrared light is primarily thermal radiation, and we can think of this as being heat.

Metallic Film
Window film that uses either a sputtering process or deposition process to deposit metals onto its surface to achieve the qualities and look of tinted film.

Polyester Film
Polyesters are made from chemical substances found mainly in petroluem and are manufactured in fibers, films, and plastics. Polyester film (PETF) is a semi-crystalline film used in many applications such as videotape, high quality packaging, professional photographic printing, X-ray film, floppy disks, etc.

Reflectance
The amount that is bent or sent back by a medium.

Shading Coefficient
The ratio of solar heat gain passing through window film to the solar heat gain that occurs under the same conditions if the window were made of clear, unshaded double strength window glass. The lower the number, the better solar shading qualities of the window film/glass system.

Solar Absorptance
The percent of incident solar radiation that is absorbed by the window film/glass system. The lower the number, the less solar radiation absorbed.

Solar Heat Gain Coefficient
The ratio of total solar heat passing through a given window product relative to the solar heat incident on the projected window surface at normal solar incidence (I.E. perpendicular to the glazing surface). The lower the coefficient number for a particular window film/glass system, the better it is able to reduce heat.

Solar Reflectance
The percent of incident solar radiation that is reflected by the window film/glass system. The lower the number, the less solar radiation reflected.

Solar Transmittance
The percent of incident solar radiation that is transmitted through the window film/glass system. The lower the number, the less the solar radiation transmitted.

Sputtering Process
A form of physical vapor deposition (PVD) often used for deposition of metal films.Sputtering involves knocking metal atoms off a disc of pure metal with charged, energetic, chemically inactive atoms called ions (from a plasma). The metal atoms will re-deposit and build on top of polyester film .

Total Solar Energy Rejected
The percent of total solar energy (heat) rejected by the window film/glass system. The higher the number, the more total solar energy (heat) rejected.

Transmittance
The amount that is allowed to pass through a medium.

U-Value
The ability for heat to transfer through 1 square foot of window film for each 1° fahrenheit difference in temperature. It is dependent upon the local climate or environment that the window is located in effects the level of heat transfer and the rate; in summer, heat transfers from the outdoor air to indoor air. In winter, heat transfers from indoor air to outdoor air. The lower the U-Value, the better insulating qualities of the window film/glass system.

Ultraviolet Light
Light having a shorter wavelength and higher energy than visible light. Ultraviolet light is potentially damaging to library, archive and museum objects. Removing UV light can reduce the rate of deterioration. Certain acrylic sheets have UV filtering chemicals built into them.

Ultraviolet Transmittance
The percent of ultraviolet light (UV) that is transmitted by the window film/glass system. The lower the number, the less ultraviolet transmitted.

Visible Light
electromagnetic radiation at wavelengths which the human eye can see. We perceive this radiation as colors ranging from red (longer wavelengths; ~ 700 nanometers) to violet (shorter wavelengths; ~400 nanometers).

Visible Light Absorptance
The percent of total visible light that is absorbed by the window film/glass system. The lower the number the less visible light absorbed.

Visible Light Reflectance
The percent of total visible light that is reflected by the window film/glass system. The lower the number the less visible light reflected.

Visible Light Transmittance
The percent of total visible light that is transmitted through the window film/glass system. The lower the number the less visible light transmitted.

Genuine Leather vs Synthetic Leather

Perbedaan antara synthetic leather dengan genuine leather:


  1. Harga Synthetic Leather lebih murah, bahkan harga Jok dg synthetic bisa hanya 2-3x dari harga jok dg bahan Kulit Asli.
  2. Perawatan Bahan Synthetic lebih mudah dan juga tahan air, krn berbahan dasar PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride). Beda dengan Kulit asli yg ada sifat menyerap dg adanya pori2 kulit, jadi cairan/kotoran lebih sulit dibersihkan dan butuh perawatan secara continue.
  3. Synthetic tidak ada aroma kulit asli, jadi jangan berharap bisa tercium aroma kulit layaknya anda masuk ke mobil dg jok berbahan kulit asli.
  4. Synthetic tidak memberikan kenyamanan layaknya kulit asli. Permukaannya tidak cepat melepas panas, berbeda dengan kulit asli yg dapat segera melepas panas saat A/C mobil dinyalakan atau mobil dipindah ketempat yg teduh.
  5. Untuk model jok dg kerut2, kerutan bahan Synthetic tidak dapat menyerupai kerut kulit asli, bahkan terkadang (tergantung bahan synthetic) kerutan di jok dapat hilang krn tertarik-tarik saat diduduki/disandar badan sesuai dg berjalannya dengan waktu pakai.
  6. Dengan teknologi maju sekarang ini pada beberapa merk synthetic tekstur permukaan kulitnya sudah dapat menyamai tekstur kulit asli bahkan bila tidak diraba dan cium tidak akan dapat diketahui synhetic atau genuine leather. Hanya saja synthetic leather tidak dapat memiliki karakter kulit asli yg berkerut saat jok di pijit/di tekan dan sudah tentu tidak dapat meniru bau kulit yg khas.
  7. Update 2016, Sekarang ini sudah ada bahan yang bukan kulit asli tapi sangat amat menyerupai kulit asli, bisa kita katakan hybrid leather. Baik dari texture, dipijat berkerut, disentuh/ademnya, hanya bau khas kulit tidak ada, harganya 20-40% lebih murah dari pada kulit asli. Ada beberapa merk untuk jenis bahan hybrid leather dan kualitas. Bahan hybrid leather dapat dipesan untuk jok mobil anda di Monza.

Bahan dasar Synthetic Leather

Bahan dasar kulit synthetic ada 2 macam : PU dan PVC, yg bagus dan lebih durable adalah PVC.
Material Kulit synthetic yg bagus (kelas atas) biasanya terdiri dari 4 lapis, urutan dari atas smp bawah:
- Surface Coating :Lapisan pelindung terhadap sinar matahari dan goresan
- PVC Skin : Lapisan corak kulit asli.
- PVC Foam : Lapisan busa tipis untuk memberikan kesan soft kulit asli.
- Fabric : Bahan dasar kain Rolyester Rayon untuk kelenturan dan daya tahan sobek.

Pada umumnya u/ bahan synthetic yg baik bisa bertahan bertahun2 bila dipakai dalam kondisi normal.
Perawatan synthetic leather lebih ringan dibanding genuine leather yg memerlukan leather condtioner agar kelenturan dapat terjaga dg baik, tapi synthetic leahter tetap perlu perawatan agar estetika dan kebersihan interior tetap terjaga.
Tentunya segala sesuatu yg dirawat memakai produk yg tepat dan dg cara yg benar akan memiliki umur pakai yg lebih lama.

Grade Genuine Leather

Ada 3 Grade bahan jok kulit asli, yakni Grade A, B dan C.

Grade A merupakan lapisan teratas dari kulit sapi (mendekati kulit terluar),
Grade B terletak diantara daging dan kulit atas,
Grade C adalah lapisan kulit yg menempel ke daging.

Semakin dekat daging, maka kualitasnya semakin berkurang krn banyak
unsur aneline (sejenis lemak yg banyak unsur airnya).

Kabin mobil adalah tempat yg mudah lembab dan kering secara cepat, mak
a sebaiknya hindari grade C, krn akan menimbulkan bau "apek".

Ditilik dari teksturnya, kulit terbagi dalam 3 jenis, sbb:

NAPPA
Kulit jenis ini memiliki karakter permukaan yg halus dan lembut. Tak heran, Nappa kerap kali menghiasi kabin mobil mewah krn memiliki tingkat kenyamanan plg tinggi. Membuat kulit Nappa pun tidak mudah. Selain diambil dari permukaan kulit luar sapi yg wajib bebas dari luka (keloid), proses pengawetan dan pencelupannya juga harus lebih teliti, serta penyayatan pertama tidak boleh sobek. Kulit Nappa diambil dari celah antara kulit atas dan bawah dg ketebalan 1.1-1.3 mm. Kulit Nappa juga memiliki pola yg halus, saking halusnya, pori2 baru bisa terlihat saat kulit dicubit.

Top Grain Leather
Di Seluruh permukaan kulit ditemui kerutan layaknya kulit jeruk. Namun hal ini bisa jadi merupakan motif atau emboss dari permukaannya. Ciri khas kulit ini seolah berminyak dan saat disentuh t
erasa licin. Top Grain Leahter biasanya dipilih dari kualitas grade B dan C, meski demikian, kulit ini tetap layak sbg pelapis Jok.


Suede
Sekilas, permukaan kulit Suede memiliki bulu-bulu halus spt kain beludru. Kulit Jenis ini diambil dari sisi bagian dalam kulit yg diproses agar tercipta bulu-bulu halus di seluruh permukaan. Tekstur unik ini kerap kali menjadi kebanggaan kalangan pehobi dan penggemar modifikasi. Namun, kulit Suede kurang berdaya tahan lama. Selain itu, agak sulit pemeliharaannya.
